Accounts management – Claims processing and Credit control PsychSA offers a complete accounts management service to you as practitioner. We will take care of all the hassles of doing your practice's patient/client accounts, enabling you to focus on what you have been trained to do – treating patients/clients. The following is a brief description of the processes involved regarding this service: > CLAIMS PROCESSING: - Day Sheets: PLEASE NOTE : Practitioners from all areas in South Africa can deliver their day sheets to us by hand, via faxes, via email or by courier or post. Practitioners may use their own day sheets, but the use of those supplied FREE by PsychSA is preferred. - Processing of day sheets: - Payments received by your practice: > CREDIT CONTROL: PsychSA follows up on all overdue accounts where non or partial payment was received. PsychSA receives automatic feedback from Medical aids in cases where information regarding the claim is wrong or incorrect e.g. membership number incorrect. In such cases we consult with the relevant medical aid for the reason. Patients/clients are contacted where they are liable for all or part of the account. > FAQ'sQ: Do I still have control over my patient/client accounts? A: You are still in full control of your accounts. We only process and manage your accounts. You liase with us on a regular basis regarding any account. You receive detailed, monthly reports regarding your accounts. Thus, you stay informed about the status of every account. Q: Does PsychSA accept work from any location in South Africa ? A: Yes. We accept work from any private practitioner (Psychology and Psychiatry) anywhere in South Africa . Q: Who handles the money? A: We don't receive any monies from the Medial Aids or from your patients/clients. All payments are made directly into your own bank accounts. You just give us details of payment amounts and dates to enable us to update your accounts. Q: How secure is the data I give to PsychSA? A: All data received are kept under strict confidential controls, no unauthorized person has access to any of your data at any time. Only designated staff of PsychSA have access to our files. > FEES (Excl. VAT): The monthly fee equals a percentage of the amount processed by PsychSA, with a minimum monthly charge. A separate fee will be charged for telephone calls made to clients/patients. Please contact us for our fees and to acquire this service. |
